Thanksgiving Point

Last week we went to Thanksgiving Point with Grandma Baker for the Tulip Festival. I've been wanting to go for about 3 years and we finally made it. While the tulips were beautiful, I think I prefer the gardens later in the season when more of the flowers are in bloom, most notably the rose gardens.

While we were there, a helicopter was flying and scooping up water from the lake. It was fun to see one up close and personal. There was also an owl nesting in the rocks around the waterfalls. It was amazing to see one for real in the "wild."
