Last weekend was busy, to say the least. Without detailing the entire weekend, I thought I'd share a few of the highlights.
On Friday, I got to attend a convention in Midway. It was for physician and med student wives. We had some informative lectures on breast cancer and on the current health care reform in Washington. It ended with a luncheon with special guest speaker Senator Bob Bennett, who talked about his health care reform bill.
On Saturday morning, Rich participated in his first triathalon at Yuba Lake. He had a great time and did very well.
On Saturday, I also volunteered for the annual health fair at the U, with the Faux Paw booth, which teaches kids about internet safety. I'm trying to get more involved in the community.
We had many other events and activities this weekend, and I am pooped! This 24/7 morning sickness is putting a damper on things. Sure hope it goes away soon.
